AN EXAMINATION OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SERVICE INNOVATION BEHAVIOR AND PSYCHOLOGICAL CAPITAL AND ETHICAL LEADERSHIP: A SAMPLE OF ADANA

Öz

Ethical leadership is at the forefront of what issues in today's business life and current issues, with a view to making strong moral decisions through bilateral communication. Service innovation behavior is important in terms of individual and institutional actions carried out during the production and implementation of new ideas. Organizational processes and systems, project management skills, organizational culture and vision are the main issues in service innovation behavior. In this study, literature review and the relationship between ethical leadership, service innovation behavior and psychological capital are discussed. The research process was carried out with 317 worker who are randomly selected in commercial enterprises operating in the production sector in the province of Adana and registered in the Adana Chamber of Industry. Data were gathered through data collection form where quantitative data were obtained using face-to-face interview method. According to the correlation analysis, there was a positive and meaningful relationship between service innovation behavior, psychological capital and ethical leadership. It is thought that this study will contribute to the innovation literature and policy makers

HİZMET İNOVASYON DAVRANIŞI İLE PSİKOLOJİK SERMAYE VE ETİK LİDERLİK İLİŞKİSİNİN İNCELENMESİ: ADANA ÖRNEĞİ

Öz

Etik liderlik kavramı, karşılıklı iletişim vasıtasıyla ahlaki yönü güçlü kararlar almak, günümüz çalışma yaşamı ve güncel konuları açısından önem arz eden hususların başında gelmektedir. Hizmet inovasyon davranışı da yeni fikirlerin üretilmesi ve uygulanması sürecinde gerçekleştirilen bireysel ve kurumsal eylemler açısından önem arz etmektedir. Örgütsel süreç ve sistemler, proje yönetimi, örgüt kültürü ve vizyon gibi konular hizmet inovasyon davranışı ile ilgili olarak dikkat çeken konulardır. Bu çalışmada, literatür taraması ile etik liderlik, hizmet inovasyon davranışı ve psikolojik sermaye arasındaki ilişki analiz edilmektedir.. Bu çalışmanın amacı, etik liderlik, hizmet inovasyon davranışı ve psikolojik sermaye arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Araştırma süreci, Adana ilinde üretim sektöründe faaliyet gösteren ve Adana Sanayi Odası’na kayıtlı olan ticari işletmelerden rastgele seçilen 317 işgören ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler birebir görüşme yöntemi kullanılarak nicel verilerin elde edildiği veri toplama formu aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Korelasyon analizine göre hizmet inovasyon davranışı ile psikolojik sermaye ve etik liderlik arasında pozitif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu gözlenmiştir. Çalışmanın inovasyon yazınına ve politika belirleyicilere katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
