International Turkish Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology (IJTSEP) is an open-access, peer-reviewed academic periodical dedicated to publishing high-quality, original research in the fields of sport and exercise psychology. IJTSEP publishes research articles that contribute to the scientific understanding of psychological factors influencing physical activity, athletic performance, and mental well-being in sports contexts. The journal is published semi-annually (June and December) in both Turkish and English. Gerasimos Grivas is Lecturer in Training and Physical Conditioning at Hellenic Naval Academy. Obtained his PhD in 2018 and Master's degrees in 2010 from the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science at the University of Thessaly (Trikala). His master's thesis focused on the effect of detraining on deconditioning of cardiovascular parameters in adolescent middle- and long-distance athletes. For his PhD thesis, he compared the effect of different concurrent aerobic and strength training programs on physical fitness in men. Specifically, he examined and compared the efficacy of two combined training programs on health, functional capacity, and physical fitness indices. His research interests also include: (1) the effect of different exercise programs on the physical fitness of adults, (2) maximizing performance in elite athletes, (3) strength training for middle and long-distance athletes, (4) skeletal muscle function in humans and animals, (5) the validity of exercise as an oxidative stimulus, (6) the effects of free radicals and antioxidants during exercise, (7) wearable technology in health and elite sport, (8) recovery, environmental conditions, shoes, and equipment, (9) physical activity in untrained individuals, and (10) altitude training. He has published a total of 33 articles (plus 1 under review) in international and Greek scientific journals with peer-review systems and has presented 37 papers at international and Greek conferences. Moreover, he serves as a reviewer for more than 30 international scientific journals in the fields of coaching, biochemistry, physiology, exercise, and nutrition.

PhD Nijaz Skender Full Professor

PhD Nijaz Skender, Full professor, has been employed at the University of Bihac since 2001. He works at the Faculty of Health and the Pedagogical Faculty. Doctoral thesis was defended 30th 11th 2004th at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education University of Sarajevo.
The topic of the master's thesis was "Relations of morphological characteristics and body deformities in students aged 15 to 18 years.

He has published 7 books, more than 60 scientific research papers in national and international journals, participated in several international symposiums, conferences and congresses, where he exhibited his works

He is a lecturer in postgraduate studies at the Department of Physical education and sport at Pedagogical faculty University of Bihać.

He is a part time a, lecturer in postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Sarajevo, the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Tuzla University, postgraduate as well as undergraduates studies at the Teaching faculty of University „Džemal Bijedić“ of Mostar, and doctoral studies at University of „Dzemal Bijedić“ of Mostar. He was supervisor for 4 PhD thesis and 5 master thesis.

He has lectured in several seminars within the lifelong learning of professors and teachers of physical and health education. He was Lecturer at the School of Education UEFA coach of Bosnia and Herzegovina and he hes lectured several seminars for sport associate BiH, Associate of the Una-Sana Canton Sports Association and Sports Association of Bihac.

He was Vice dean for Education at the Faculty of Education, vice-rector for International cooperation and scientific research at the University of Bihac. He was position of Dean of the Faculty of Education, University of Bihac, and president of Senate University of Bihać.
He participated in 10 international and national projects for reform in higher education (Bologna process).

He got and realized project “Course development program +“ founded by WUS Austria.
He participated in TEMPUS Project Centers for Curriculum Modernization and Life Long Learning, where he acted as academic collaborator in 2011, and participation at the seminar Course Development and Lifelong Learning, organized by WUS Austria in 2007.
He participated in Erasmus+ KA107 Staff mobility for teaching at Dumlupinar University Kutahya.

Currently, He has a menager in Erasmus + KA2 TEACHER project (Introducing competence based preschool teacher education curricula in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He leads bilateral project Slovenia an Bosnia and Herzegovina, “The importance of knowing publics motivation for participating in sport and following sporting events on development of sports culture”.

He lead few nationality scientific project for example:
"The importance of physical activity in relation to morphological characteristics, obesity, high blood fat and hypertension in students".,
"Prevalence of spinal deformity and connection with morphological characteristics and functional abilities in students of ages 11 and 12" Projects funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Science BiH. He hed a few infrastructure project etc.

President of the Organizing and Scientific Committee the Symposium "Sport, Tourism and Health", organized by the Faculty of Pedagogy from Bihac and the Faculty of Sport from Ljubljana.

Holds more certificates for the introduction of ECTS points and quality assurance in higher education, certificate for Curricula modernization and Certificate for LLL. He was supervisor for a lot of master's theses and more doctoral dissertations, theses, etc.

Dr Abdullah F. Alghannam is a Research Scientist, Consultant Sports Physiotherapist & Exercise Physiologist. Dr Alghannam is  currently the Director of the Lifestyle & Health Research Center at the Natural & Health Sciences Research Center (NHSRC), Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU). He previously worked as a post-doctoral researcher in Exercise Physiology and Sports Nutrition at Loughborough University, UK. Dr Alghannam is a fellow of the  Royal Society for Public Health. Dr Alghannam is a prominent Researcher in his field with numerous high impact publications in journals in the field of Sports Medicine, such as Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise and the International Journal of Sports Medicine. In 2020, Dr Alghannam received the prestigious Exercise Physiologist certification from The American College of Sports Medicine.

I am a Ph.D. candidate specializing in Sport Management in Turkey. My research focuses primarily on sports marketing, sports technology, and sustainability in sports, fields where I have actively contributed as a researcher and scholar. With a passion for advancing the intersection of innovation, sustainability, and the sports industry, I strive to explore and develop strategies that enhance the effectiveness of marketing practices, promote environmental and social sustainability, and facilitate the integration of cutting-edge technologies in sports.

She is pursuing a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology and has an impressive history of championship titles in Taekwondo. She has also contributed notable research articles to highly respected international journals. Her research interests include sports performance, sports nutrition, and exercise science.
