AN EVALUATION OF DIRECT FOREIGN INVESTMENTS IN THE KYRGYZSTAN

Abstract

Kyrgyzstan is the economy that foreign direct investors are interested in. Today, especially efforts for re-operating the Silk Road will positively affect the regional economies. The main aim of this work is to put forward what should do to prevent a conflict both in the eastern and western countries while attracting foreign direct investments. In this context, being friends with old enemies is a remedy for not being enemies with new friends. The goal is to benefit directly from the foreign capital in the economic development of the country. In doing so, it is also possible to contribute to the world economic peace by not becoming a conflict area of the countries to be cooperated. Under the guidance of Turkey, when China, Russia, the USA, and EU countries act together with the win-win philosophy, they are going to get the highest benefit from the geography.

KIRGIZİSTAN’DA YAPILAN DOĞRUDAN YABANCI YATIRIMLARIN BİR DEĞERLENDİRMESİ

Öz

Kırgızistan, doğrudan yabancı yatırımcıların ilgi gösterdiği ekonomilerdendir. Günümüzde, özellikle İpekyolu’nun yeniden faaliyete geçirilme çabaları, bölge ekonomilerini de olumlu yönde etkileyecektir. Çalışmanın temel amacı, doğrudan yabancı sermaye yatırımlarını ülkeye çekerken gerek doğu gerek batı bloğu ülkelerinin bir çatışma alanı haline gelmemesi için yapılması gerekenlerin ortaya konulmasıdır. Bu bağlamda amaç, eski düşmanlarla dost olabilmek ve yeni dostlarla da düşman olmamanın çarelerini bulmaktır. Amaç, ülkenin iktisadi gelişme ve kalkınmasında doğrudan yabancı sermayeden de yararlanmaktır. Bunu yaparken, iş birliği yapılacak ülkelerin bir çatışma alanı haline gelmemesi, dünya iktisadi barışına da katkıda bulunabilmektir. Türkiye’nin rehberliğinde Çin, Rusya, ABD, Avrupa Birliği ülkeleri ile kazan kazan felsefesiyle hareket edilirse, bu ülkeler bulunduğu coğrafyadan en yüksek faydayı sağlayacaktır.
