In this study, to examine the perception of individual innovativeness of health professionals and to investigate the effect of socio-demographic characteristics on individual innovativeness have been aimed. The study has been done in a private hospital in Ankara. In the research, 266 people were surveyed. The data collection process has been carried out between January 6,- January 30, 2020. The data have been evaluated by; descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA and reliability analysis. According to the results obtained from the study, among the individual innovativeness sub-dimensions, the highest average has been obtained in the “openness to experience” sub-dimension and the lowest average has been obtained in the “resistance to change” sub-dimension. It has been determined that the ‘resistance to change’ sub-dimension scores of the participants’ showed statistically significant differences according to age, gender, education level and total working time in the health sector. Also in this study, it has been determined that the participant scores in the sub-dimensions of ‘opinion leadership’ and ‘openness to experience’ show statistically significant difference according to age and education level.
