The aim of the study is to examine the university adjustment levels of the first year students of the Faculty of Nursing and the influencing factors. The sample of this descriptive study consisted of 121 students who agreed to participate in the study. The data of the study were collected using the individual information form and the University Life Scale. At the end of the term, it was found that students' total adjustment, adjustment to the university environment and relationships with the opposite sex increased. It was found that the total adjustment score was higher in those who thought they had a good education in high school and were satisfied with university life, and the total adjustment scores of the students who made a preliminary research about the university increased at the end of the term. In addition, it was found that the total adjustment score of the students who are members of the nursing and photography club was higher. The results point to the importance of encouraging students to participate in social activities and student clubs.
