The increasing autonomy level of entities with artificial intelligence with the technological development has necessitated the determination of a new legal status regarding those entities. Up until today, the status granted to entities with artificial intelligence through “the object approach” has brought the necessity of granting a personality to these entities, in order to resolve the representation of artificial intelligence and robotics law in certain relations, especially economic, in which they enter into. Among the personality models put forward as a solution to this necessity, artificial human model, artificial agent model, slavery model and electronical personality model can be mentioned. As a solution proposal in this direction, the electronic personality model, which is also recommended by the European Parliament in the euRobotics report, is considered to be the most comprehensive personality model among all the existing models. This study is based on the idea that the electronic personality model, which will bring an important innovation to artificial intelligence technology in terms of personality and liability law, will also provide a concrete solution to the issue of who will be accepted as the owner of the works and inventions produced by the entities with artificial intelligence in terms of intellectual property.
