HEMŞİRELERDE COVİD-19 SALGINI SONRASI KENDİNİ AFFEDEMEMENİN MESLEKTEN AYRILMA NİYETİNE ETKİSİ

Öz

Bu çalışmanın amacı kendini affedemememin hemşirelerin mesleği bırakma niyetleri üzerindeki etkisinin değerlendirilmesi ve kendini affedememe ile mesleği bırakma niyeti arasındaki ilişkide işe bağlı stresin aracılık rolünün ortaya konmasıdır. Çalışmanın örneklemi Doğu Karadeniz Bölgesindeki hastanelerin yoğun bakım ünitelerinde pandemi döneminde ve sonrasında çalışan 195 hemşire oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verileri kısmi en küçük kareler yapısal eşitlik modellemesi (PLS-SEM) kullanılarak SmartPLS ile değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonuçları, kendini affedememenin işle ilgili stres ve mesleği bırakma niyeti ile pozitif olarak ilişkili olduğunu işle ilgili stresin mesleği bırakma niyetiyle de pozitif olarak ilişkili olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Ayrıca, işle ilgili stresin araştırma modelinde tamamlayıcı kısmi aracılık etkisinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bulgular, pandemiden sonra bile psikolojik sağlıkla ilgili sorunların hala devam ettiğini göstermektedir. Bu nedenle yöneticilerin, kendilerini affetmekte zorlanan ve iş stresi yaşayan hemşirelere yardımcı olacak yeni programlar düzenlemeleri tavsiye edilmektedir. Uygulanacak olan bu programların hemşirelerin iş stresi düzeyleri üzerinde olumlu etki göstererek işlerinde kalma niyetlerinin artması beklenebilir.
