Öz

The aim of this research is to examine the validity and reliability of the Turkish version of the religious commitment scale-short form (RCI-10); (Worthington etc., 2003). Participants were 368 undergreduate students (235 were female and 133 were male) from Sakarya University. A series statisticial analysis was conducted to validity and reliability of scale. The fit indexes of the two-dimensional scale were: x²= 109.33, df= 26, RMSEA=.093, CFI=.94, IFI=.94, GFI=.94, SRMR=.053. The corrected item-total correlations of RCI-10 Turkish Form ranged from .37 to .69. The internal consistency coefficient of the scale was .85. Overall findings demonstrated that this scale had high validity and reliability scores and that it may be used as a valid and reliable instrument in order to assess religious commitment levels of individuals.

Dini Bağlılık Ölçeğinin Türkçe'ye Uyarlanması

Öz

Türkçe Bu araştırmanın amacı dini bağlılık ölçeği kısa formunu (RCI-10) Türkçe'ye uyarlamaktır. Araştırma Sakarya Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören 368 öğrenci (235 kız ve 133 erkek)  üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları için bir dizi istatistiksel işlem yapılmıştır. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizinde 10 maddeden oluşan iki boyutlu modelin iyi düzeyde uyum verdiği görülmüştür (x²=109.33, sd=26, p=0.00, RMSEA= .093, NFI= .90, CFI= .94, IFI= .94, RFI= .87, GFI= .94, SRMR= .053). Ölçeğin madde toplam korelasyon katsayıları ise .37 ile .69 arasında değişmektedir. Ölçeğin iç tutarlık katsayısı .85 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Bu sonuçlar RCI-10'un Türkçe formundan elde edilen ölçümlerin kişilerin dini bağlılık düzeyini ölçme konusunda yeterli düzeyde geçerli ve güvenilir olduğunu göstermektedir.
