Cicero, De Finibus III'te "Latincede Felsefi Terminoloji" Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Öz

Yunan felsefesinin kabulüyle birlikte Romalılar, pratik karakterleri sayesinde ahlak ve siyaset felsefesinde terminoloji oluşturma problemini çözebilmişler; örneğin yeni terimler bularak ihtiyacı giderebilmişlerdi. Ancak Cicero'nun da dediği gibi, teorik felsefede de yeni bir terminolojiye ihtiyaçları vardı. Bu hususta Cieero, özellikle de De Finibus (Bonorum et Maloıum) IH.'te inceleme yapmış, yeni terimler bulmuş, eski Latince kelimeleri canlandırmış, Yunanca'dan Latince'ye çeviri yapmıştır, vs. Bu çalışma da Cicero'nun De Finibus, 111.'teki incelemeleriyle alakalıdır
