50'li yıllar Türk sosyolojisinin özelliklerini kazandıran olay ve gelişmeleri, 50'li yıllar sosyoloji çalışmalarını anlama bu yazının temel tasasıdır. 50'li yıllarda sorunlarımızın neler olduğu, sosyologlarımızın bu konularda ne tür çaba sarf ettiğini kavramak çabamızı temellendirirken öncelikle hatırlamamız gereken kimi noktalar bulunmaktadır.

Öz
To understand Turkish sociology of the fifties, it is necessary to regard the period's historical conditions as well as the period's sociological texts. This text is the interpretation of a view about the historical process leading to the fifties. In the first place, it is wanted to draw the frame of the process leading to the fifties. Secondly, it is tried to evaluate the Turkish sociology in the fifties in top view. The problems of sociology in this process are discussed.
