Snow White is one of the most considered nursery tale whom by psychiatrists, feminist theorists and researchers of different social sciences because of its content and practically is known well and also imprinted
on nearly everyone’s memories by imagery. Written by Grimm Brothers
in 1812, Snow White has been illustrated and used as an art subject many
times by various artists and illustrators just as other fairy tales. Through
the development and growth of movie industry, especially in USA, Walt
Disney has created “an image unity” on people minds globally by adapting
popular nursery tales, stories and mythological legends into movie screen
as cartoons. This paper deciphers and focuses, “Snow White and Her Stepmother,” the third piece of “Snow White” variation painted by a Portuguese artist Paula Rego who inspired artworks from conceptual subjects
that were never been on original nursery.
