Eva M. Álvarez, PhD in Architecture
Together with Carlos Gómez in 2010, they organized the exhibition On Stage! Women in Architecture in Hannover (2011) and Valencia (2012) and contributed to this exhibition in Vienna (2014). They have also organized several Editathon sessions on Women in Architecture in collaboration with Un día| Una arquitecta since 2014, a blog for which they are collaborators. They organized the international seminar Women in Architecture in May 2015, the international Women in Architecture survey in 2016 and the Women Now lecture series in 2018. They have led a workshop at the Venice Biennale in 2018 and have actively participated in the activities of AULAhna (2014-2018), where they have invited Anne Lacaton, Momoyo Kaijima, Yui Tezuka, Anupama Kundoo and Yasmin Shariff, among others. They have also contributed to the work of IVAM (Institut Valencià d'Art Modern) with research on Women Architects in Valencia (1929-1980). They have won the IAWA Milka Bliznakov 2019 research award at Virginia Tech (USA) for their proposal to study Spanish-speaking women architects in IAWA (International Archive of Women in Architecture). They have been partners in the research project YesWePlan! Promoting Women in Architecture and Civil Engineering, a research project funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union (2019-2021) and they are currently partners in the European project ARCH-E European Platform for Architectural Design Competitions (2022-2024) and NAIX-EM, a project for inclusive birth houses in the Valencian Community (2023-2025). They are also coordinators at the UPV of the ARTICULACIONES certificate organized by the IVAM, the UV and the UPV. They both direct CUG Càtedra de Urbanisme i Gènere, which began its activities in September 2022 and which supports the ICAG2023 congress.
As a professional activity in gómez+álvarez arquitectes, they have developed the construction of several buildings that incorporate the gender perspective such as the Town Hall and Auditorium of Massanassa (Valencia). And, as assessors for gender mainstreaming, the advice for the effective incorporation of the gender perspective in the General Structural Plan of Castelló and the preparation of the Gender Impact Assessment Report commissioned by the City Council of Castelló (2017) stand out. Also, the Urban Quality Guidelines of Valencia commissioned by the City Council of Valencia (2018), as in the DUSI Strategy of Castelló (2018). Recently, the elaboration of a “Guide to incorporate the gender perspective in urban planning in the Valencian Community” commissioned by the Directorate General of Urban Planning GVA Generalitat Valenciana (2020). This Guide was a finalist for the CSCAE awards in 2022. In addition, they have advised on gender mainstreaming in AUMSA's Housing Plan 2022 commissioned by the EIB European Investment Bank and developed a Reference Guide for Gender Mainstreaming in Social Housing (2023) for the EIB.

Justyna Kleszcz scientific interests are based upon non-anthropocentric design and new trends in biophilic urban design. Her side passion is the history of local, regional architecture of Silesia. Her present research refers to the topic of theoretical and practical aspects of urban farming as well as practical aspects of the profession of an architect. She holds a PhD and MA in Architecture and Urban Planning at the Faculty of Architecture, Wrocław University of Science and Technology. In 2022 she obtained her habilitation. She is also a practising architect and Associate Professor at the Opole University of Technology, Poland, a coordinator of scientific discipline architecture and urban planning in the doctoral school and the chairperson of the Scientific Discipline Council Architecture and Urban Planning at OUTech.
Graduated in Architectural Design from the Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology in 2000 and obtained a professional doctorate degree (Arch.D) in architecture from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2006. Teaching architecture and design since 2006 at the North South University in Bangladesh.
Monica MIRONESCU is a specialist in food science and engineering, with more than 28 years of experience of research and teaching in the field of sugar and derivatives, starch and derivatives. She has skills and expertise in developing novel bio-based food materials as starch-based edible packaging or honey-based products. She is very much involved in finding sustainable solutions for the food industry, as starch recovery from waste or using the Zero Waste approach in the food factories. Interest in using natural compounds in other fields, asa medicine and pharmacy.

Emanuele Morezzi, architect PhD, is Associate Professor of Architectural Restoration and Preservation at the Department of Architecture and Design, Politecnico di Torino. He earned a Doctorate in Cultural Heritage (2008), he is a professor in Theory of Restoration courses and in the design studios of the Bachelor and Master's degree courses in Architecture. He is a member of the board of the Doctorate in Architectural and Landscape Heritage of the Polytechnic of Turin and a member of SIRA, Italian Society for Architectural Restoration. He has been a visiting professor in foreign universities and member of scientific and editorial committees. His scientific research concerns the history and theory of restoration, the conservation of ruins, and architectural and archaeological heritage protection.
Dr. Hitesh Panchal earned his Ph.D. in Solar Thermal Engineering from KSV University, Gandhinagar, in 2015. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Government Engineering College, Patan, Gujarat.
Dr. Panchal has an extensive research portfolio, with over 300+ publications in reputed international journals such as Taylor & Francis, Springer, Elsevier, and ASME. His work has garnered more than 17000 citations on Google Scholar, with an H-index of 79 and an I10-index of 275. DR. HITESH MOHAPATRA received the B.E. degree in Information Technology from Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha in 2006, and the MTech. Degree in CSE from Odisha University of Technology and Research (OUTR) University, Odisha in 2009. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering in 2021 from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, India. He has contributed 30 SCI and Scopus indexed research papers, 21 international/national conferences and books on Software Engineering and C Programming respectively. He has 15 years of teaching experience both in industry and academia. He has served the research community with various capacities like session chair, technical chair, keynote speaker etc. His research interests include wireless sensor network, smart city, smart grid and smart water. Currently he is working as Associate professor at School of Computer Engineering, KIIT DU, Bhubaneswar, and Odisha.

Wolfgang E. Lorenz is a researcher and lecturer at the Vienna University of Technology. His main research focuses on the application of digital media in architecture and spatial planning, especially on the examination and elaboration of applying fractal geometry to architecture. Other research fields concern simulation, process visualization, generative design, software engineering, algorithms, and programming languages. In the past 15 years, he has collaborated on projects regarding data analysis and software development. He published several research papers, articles, and books on students’ design work and excursions. In 2014, he obtained a doctoral degree in architecture for his thesis on Analysis of Fractal Architecture using the Box-Counting Method.
Dr. Wadi, akademi ve endüstride geniş bir geçmişe sahip seçkin bir elektrik mühendisidir. 2006 ve 2012 yıllarında sırasıyla Filistin, Gazze İslam Üniversitesi’nden Elektrik Mühendisliği alanında Lisans ve Yüksek Lisans derecelerini almış, ardından 2017 yılında Türkiye, İstanbul Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi’nde Elektrik Sistemleri alanında doktora derecesini tamamlamıştır. 2017 yılından bu yana İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim Üniversitesi’nde görev yapmakta olup, başlangıçta Yardımcı Doçent olarak görev almış, halen Elektrik-Elektronik Mühendisliği Bölümü’nde Doçent unvanıyla çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.

İbrahim Agah Taştemir, lisans eğitimini 2012-2017 yılları arasında İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim Üniversitesi’nde tamamladı. Prof. Dr. Necmettin MARAŞLI doktorasını Oxford Üniversitesi, Malzeme Bölümü'nden 1995 yılında tamamladı. İstanbul Gelişim Üniversitesi Mühendislik ve Mimarlık Fakültesi Uçak Mühendisliği (İngilizce) Bölümü'nde tam zamanlı profesör olarak görev yapmaktadır. 1987-2013 yılları arasında Erciyes Üniversitesi Fen Fakültesi Fizik Bölümünde, 2013-2021 yılları arası Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi Kimya Metalürji Fakültesi Metalürji ve Malzeme Mühendisliği Bölümünde ve 2021-2022 yılında İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi Mühendislik Fakültesi Makine Mühendisliği Bölümünde çalışmalarda bulundu. Araştırma ilgi alanları arasında doğrusal katılaşma, katı-sıvı arayüzey enerji ölçümleri, termal ve elektriksel iletkenliklerin sıcaklık değişimi ve çok bileşenli metalik ve şeffaf organik alaşımlarda mekanik ve termofiziksel özelliklerin büyüme oranlarına bağımlılığı yer almaktadır. Son zamanlarda, düzgün yüksek elektrik alanları altında katılaşmalar üzerinde çalışıyor. Ulusal veya uluslararası destekli 40 araştırma projesin de görev aldı ve etki faktörü yüksek uluslararası dergilerde 140 bilimsel makale yayınlatmıştır. Ayrıca birçok uluslararası dergide yayın kurulu üyeliği ve hakemlik yapmaktadır. Aynı zamanda çeşitli üniversitelerde Bölüm başkanlığı, Enstitü Müdür Yardımcılığı, Enstitü Müdürlüğü, Üniversite Senato üyeliği ve Üniversite Yönetim Kurulu üyeliği görevlerinde bulunmuştur. Halen İsatanbul Gelişim Üniversitesi'nde Araştırma ve Geliştirmeden sorumlu Rektör Yardımcılığı görevini yürütmektedir.

Üyesi olarak atandı.2014 yılında Doçent, 2020 yılında Prof.Dr. ünvanını aldı.2023 yılında Bitlis Eren Üniversitesi Mühendislik Mimarlık Fakültesi Makine Mühendisliğine atandı. Akademik hayatında farklı birimlerde yöneticilik yaptı, Yenilenebilir Enerji alanlarında ulusal ve uluslararası çok sayıda sempozyum, makale ve bildiri yayınlandı. Güneş Enerji alanında birçok yerli ve yabancı şirketlere danışmanlık ve mentörlük yapıtı. Evli ve üç çocuk babsı.

Hakan İMERT lisans ve yüksek lisans derecelerini Haliç Üniversitesinden almıştır. 2017 yılında Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi, İç Mimarlık Anabilim dalında doktorasını "Konaklama Mekanlarında Ekolojik Biçimleniş ve Bir Tasarım Modeli Önerisi" adlı teziyle tamamlamıştır. 2017-2021 yılları arasında İstinye Üniversitesinde çalıştıktan sonra İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim Üniversitesi, İç Mimarlık ve Çevre Tasarımı bölümüne katılmıştır. TMMOB İçmimarlar Odası üyesidir. Araştırma alanları arasında sürdürülebilir mimarlık, ekolojik ve doğa esinli tasarımlar ile dijital/robotik üretim yöntemleri bulunmaktadır.
Dr. Bahar FERAH is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Depatment of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, Istanbul, Turkey. Her current research interests include Architectural Design, Projects for Public Spaces (PPS), Urban Sustainability, Architecture- Society Interaction.
Jean-Michel Guldmann is Professor Emeritus and Academy Professor of City and Regional Planning at the Knowlton School of Architecture (KSA), where he has taught from 1977 to 2012 and served as KSA Interim Director from 2005 to 2007. He has a Master's in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Ecole des Mines, Nancy, France, and a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel He has taught courses on optimization, decision analysis, population/economic forecasting, and energy and regional modeling at OSU, Capital Normal University in Beijing, and Gazi University in Ankara. He has supervised to successful completion of the dissertations of 31 PhD students, including 6 students since his retirement in 2012. He has also hosted and mentored six Visiting Scholars from China and Turkey. His current research focuses on the analysis and modeling of the urban heat island and its mitigation, the role of green infrastructure in urban sustainability, air pollution from transportation and other sources, urban energy consumption, and land-use change dynamics. His research methodologies include spatial econometrics, simulation, and optimization, with, as input, big geospatial data (LiDAR, remote sensing, Census, cadaster). He has published a book entitled Industrial Location and Air Quality Control: A Planning Approach (John Wiley), over 110 peer-reviewed journal articles, and 2 book chapters. He has been a member of the OSU Emeritus Academy since 2014.
