Öz

İnternet sohbet etmek, oyun oynamak, müzik dinlemek, araştırma yapmak gibi amaçlarla yaygın olarak kullanılan teknolojik bir araçtır. Günümüzde her çocuğun ve ergenin internet kullanma nedenleri birbirinden farklıdır. Aileler bu durumu değerlendirirken çocuğun farklılıklarını göz önünde bulundurmalıdır. Bu makalede amaç çocuk ve ergenlerin internet kullanımları hakkında genel bilgiler vermek, internet kullanımlarının yaratabileceği olumsuz sonuçlar üzerinde durmak ve ailelere bazı önerilerde bulunmaktır

Internet Use Among Children and Adolescents

Internet is a popular technologic medium used to chat, play, listen to music, and research. In the present day, every child or adolescent has a different motive to use internet. While evaluating this phenomenon, the parents should consider the pediatric aspects of internet use. This article aims to give general information on the use of internet by the children and the teenagers, emphasize its advers effects, and make several recommendations to parents
