EDITORIAL PRINCIPLES AND  PEER REVIEW POLICY

1.  Journal of Engineering Technology and Applied Sciences: An International Journal is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal which is published three times per year. Papers can be written in Turkish or English. Scientific and original articles in fundamental and engineering areas are published in the journal.

2.    Articles that are sent to publish in the journal can be written in Turkish or English. Articles which will be published in the journal should be proper with writing and linguistic rules. The scientific and linguistic responsibilities of the articles published in this journal belong to the author(s).

3.    The Editor first evaluates all manuscripts. It is rare, but it is possible for an exceptional manuscript to be accepted at this stage. Manuscripts rejected at this stage are insufficiently original, have serious scientific flaws, have poor grammar or English language, or are outside the aims and scope of the journal. 

4.     Referees are asked to evaluate whether the manuscript: - Is original - Is methodologically sound - Follows appropriate ethical guidelines - Has results which are clearly presented and supports the conclusions - Correctly references previous relevant work.  Reports should have all positive or negative reasons. Filling the Reviewer form is not sufficient for a decision.

5.    All articles should be sent via the website of the journal (https://dergipark.org.tr/jetas). Author(s) should prepare their article proper to the publication rules of the journal and ethical rules. Articles that are not proper to rules are not evaluated. Articles published or submitted for publication elsewhere are not evaluated.

6.    Articles sent to the journal are presented the evaluation of two referees by editorial board decision. Articles sent to the journal are published by the editorial board's decision after the referees’ positive opinion is taken.

7.    During the layout process is running, author(s) should reply to the messages, which are about controlling and editing the article, within the specified period. If the author(s) don’t reply to the messages within the specified period, their article is postponed to the following issue.

8.    Articles that completed their evaluation process, are published considering their arrival date.

9.    More than one article of one author is not published in the same issue.
