Kronik boyun ağrılı bireylerde postüral kontrol ve dengenin incelenmesi

Öz

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, kronik boyun ağrılı hastalarda postüral kontrol ve dengenin araştırılarak sağlıklı bireyler ile
karşılaştırılmasıdır.

Yöntem: Bu çalışma, 22-55 yaş aralığında (ortalama yaş: 38,0±7,2 yıl) 37 kronik boyun ağrılı hastanın katılımıyla
gerçekleştirildi. Sağlıklı kontrol grubu 21-49 yaş aralığında (ortalama yaş: 35,4±8,9 yıl) 38 sağlıklı bireyden oluşuyordu.
Kronik boyun ağrılı bireylerin ağrı şiddeti Vizüel Analog Skalası (VAS) kullanarak, özür düzeyi Boyun Özür İndeksi (BÖİ)
kullanılarak değerlendirildi. Postüral kontrol ve denge değerlendirmeleri Biodex Denge Sistemleri kullanılarak yapıldı.

Bulgular: Statik postüral kontrol testlerinde, gözler açık ve kapalı durumda, kronik boyun ağrılı hastalar ile kontrol grubunun
mediolateral stabilite skorlarının benzer olduğu bulundu (p>0,05). Her iki testte de kronik boyun ağrılı grubun kontrol grubuna
göre anteroposterior ve genel stabilite skorlarının daha yüksek olduğu bulundu (p<0,05). Her iki grupta dinamik stabilite ve
tek ayak üzerinde denge test sonuçları benzerdi (p>0,05). Hastalık süresi, VAS ve BÖİ skoru ile postüral kontrol ve denge
parametrelerinin sonuçları arasında ilişki olmadığı bulundu (r<0,20, p>0,05).

Sonuç: Kronik boyun ağrılı hastalarda, statik ayakta dik duruş pozisyonunda anteroposterior salınımlarının artmakla birlikte
mediolateral gövde salınımlarının kontrol grubu ile benzer olduğunu bulundu. Tek ayak üzerinde denge ve dinamik postüral
kontrol her iki grup için benzerdi.
