THE IMPACT OF NATIONAL STUDENT SYMPOSIUM OF SOCIAL SCIENCES HIGH SCHOOL ON STUDENTS' THINKING SKILLS, AFFECTIVE CHARACTERISTICS AND SOCIALIZATION SKILLS
Öz
In this study; It is aimed to determine the effect of the National Student Symposium of Social Sciences High School organized by the General Directorate of Secondary Education of the Ministry of National Education (MoNE). The study was in the screening model. The scale was developed by the researchers to collect the data. After the application of the scale trial after analyzing the validity and reliability have been used in actual practice. The data obtained in the study were transferred to the computer sing the SPSS 20.00 package program. This data was the analyzed by the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, dependent t-test for two variables, one-way variance analysis for three variables and Tukey test for Post-Hoc techniques in case of difference in the analysis of variance. The effects of the National Student Symposium of Social Sciences High School were evaluated before and after the symposium. As a result of the research; it was seen that the opinions of administrators, teachers and students were higher after the symposium than before the symposium in terms of both their thinking skills and their ability to socialize with effective characteristics. This difference in the views of the participants was statistically a result of post-symposium at .05level.was also examined whether there was a significant difference according to participant variables. Regarding the participant variable; In the thinking skills, according to the managers and teachers before the symposium, the students have seen themselves more than enough. The emotional characteristics were found to be different in socialization skills and overall scale after the symposium. It has been found that this difference is due to the lower ratings of the students themselves.
