Prososyal Davranış Kavramı Üzerine Yapılan Çalışmaların Bibliyometrik Analizi

Öz

Prososyal davranış, başkalarına yardım etme, destek sağlama, paylaşma ve toplumun iyiliği için gönüllü olarak katkıda bulunma gibi olumlu davranışları ifade etmektedir. Prososyal davranış örgütlerde çalışanların ve yöneticilerin örgüt içindeki ilişkilerini, örgüt kültürünü ve genel anlamda verimliliği etkileyen davranışlardır. Diğer taraftan prososyal davranış örgüt içindeki ilişkileri güçlendiren, çalışan memnuniyetini artıran, verimliliğin artmasıyla birlikte uzun vadeli başarıya katkı sağlayan bir temel oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı, bu alandaki akademik literatürün incelenmesi ve prososyal davranış konusundaki araştırmaların gelişimi, eğilimi ve önemli bulguların ortaya konulmasıdır. Ayrıca hangi ülkelerin konuya daha fazla ağırlık verdiğini, öne çıkan yazar, kurum, dergi ve yayınların hangileri olduğunu belirlemek çalışmanın amaçları arasında yer almaktadır. Web of Science veri tabanından elde edilen veriler kullanılarak yönetim alanında prososyal davranışla ilgili 968 yayın üzerinde bir analiz gerçekleştirilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda, 2020 (91) ve 2022 (90) yılları en fazla yayın yapılan yıllar, en fazla yapılan yayın türü makale (846), en fazla yayın yapan ülke ABD (411), atıf bakımından en fazla atıf alan yazar JA LePine (3027), dergi Journal of Applied Psychology (6886), kurum Michigan State University (3028), en fazla kullanılan anahtar kelime altruism (119), en çok bibliyometrik eşleşmesi olan dergi Journal of Applied Psychology (6886) ve yazar Mark C. Bolino (677) olduğu belirlenmiştir.

The Bibliometric Analysis of Studies on the Concept of Prosocial Behavior

Öz

Prosocial behavior refers to positive behaviors such as helping others, providing support, sharing, and voluntarily contributing to the good of society. Prosocial behavior is behavior that affects the relationships between employees and managers within the organization, organizational culture, and productivity in general. On the other hand, prosocial behavior forms a basis that strengthens relationships within the organization, increases employee satisfaction, and contributes to long-term success by increasing productivity. The aim of the study is to examine the academic literature in this field and to present the development, trend and important findings of research on prosocial behavior. In addition, determining which countries give more importance to the subject and which prominent authors, institutions, journals and publications are are among the aims of the study. Based on data obtained from the Web of Science database, an analysis was conducted on 968 works in the field of management on prosocial behavior. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the years 2020 (91) and 2022 (90) were the years with the most publications, the most published type was article (846), the country with the most publications was the USA (411), the most cited author in terms of citations was JA LePine (3027), the journal was Journal of Applied Psychology (6886), the institution was Michigan State University (3028), the most used keyword was altruism (119), the journal with the most bibliometric matches was Journal of Applied Psychology (6886) and the author was Mark C. Bolino (677).
