Molekül Modeli Uzamsal Yetenek Testi Geliştirme Çalışması

Yıl 2018, Cilt: 3 Sayı: 2, 59 - 76, 10.12.2018

Kimya
başarısı ile uzamsal yetenek arasında olumlu bir korelasyon vardır.  Bunun nedeni kimya alanının molekül, molekül
geometrisi, izomerlik gibi uzamsal kavramlar içermesidir. Uzamsal yetenek
kavramının eğitim alanındaki öneminden dolayı son asırda uzamsal yeteneğin
tespit edilmesi ve geliştirilmesi adına birçok çalışma yürütülmektedir. Bu
çalışmanın amacı molekül modellerinden faydalanılarak uzamsal yetenek testi
geliştirmektir. Araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan ölçek 107 Fen Bilgisi
Öğretmenliği öğrencisine uygulanmış ve 28 maddelik nihai hali elde edilmiştir.
Ölçeğin ortalama madde güçlüğü 0,619 , ortalama ayırt edicilik indeksi 0,513
olarak hesaplanmıştır. Güvenirlik analizi sonucunda (KR-20: 0,87 ; Split-Half:
0,743 ) ölçeğin uygulama sonucunda güvenilir sonuç verdiği tespit edilmiştir.
