Türkiye'deki Yenilenebilir Enerji Şirketlerinin Vizyon ve Misyon Bildirgelerinin Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Amaçları ile Uyum Analizi

Öz

Enerji, ekonomik büyümenin temel unsurlarından biridir. Artan enerji talebi ve fosil yakıtların çevresel etkileri, yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarına yönelimi zorunlu kılmaktadır. Türkiye’nin yüksek yenilenebilir enerji potansiyeli, sürdürülebilir kalkınma ve enerji bağımsızlığı açısından stratejik bir fırsat sunmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, enerji şirketlerinin vizyon ve misyon bildirgeleri yalnızca kurumsal yönelimleri değil, aynı zamanda çevresel sürdürülebilirlik stratejilerini de yansıtmalıdır. Bu çalışma, MW100 Türkiye listesine göre kurulum gücü en yüksek ilk 10 yenilenebilir enerji şirketinin vizyon ve misyon bildirgelerinin Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Amaçları (SKA) ile uyumunu incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Nitel araştırma yöntemi kapsamında, ölçüt örnekleme ile belirlenen şirketlerin bildirgeleri, betimsel içerik analizi yöntemiyle temalar altında değerlendirilmiştir. Yapılan araştırma sonucunda, Erişilebilir ve Temiz Enerji başlığının en fazla vurgulanan sürdülebilir kalkınma amacı olduğu, Misyon ve vizyon bildirgelerinde en çok tekrar edilen ifadelerin ise "Temiz enerji", "yenilenebilir enerji", "sürdürülebilirlik olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca Türkiye'deki yenilenebilir enerji şirketlerinin stratejik niyetlerinde çevresel duyarlılık, sürdürülebilirlik ve liderlik gibi temaların benzerlik gösterdiği izlenmektedir. Şirketlerin büyük çoğunluğu çevreye duyarlı üretimi ve sürdürülebilir kalkınmayı önceliklendirirken, sosyal etki ve insan kaynağına yönelik ifadeler daha sınırlı düzeyde görülmektedir.

Compliance Analysis of the Vision and Mission Statements of Renewable Energy Companies in Türkiye with Sustainable Development Goals

Öz

Energy is a fundamental driver of economic growth. Increasing energy demand and the environmental impacts of fossil fuels necessitate a shift toward renewable energy sources. Türkiye's high renewable energy potential presents a strategic opportunity for sustainable development and energy independence. In this context, the vision and mission statements of energy companies should reflect not only their corporate orientations but also their environmental sustainability strategies. This study aims to examine the alignment of the vision and mission statements of the top 10 renewable energy companies with the highest installed capacity, according to the MW100 Türkiye list, with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Within the scope of the qualitative research method, the statements of the companies selected through criterion sampling were evaluated under themes using descriptive content analysis. The research found that "Accessible and Clean Energy" was the most emphasized sustainable development goal, while the most frequently repeated phrases in mission and vision statements were "Clean energy," "Renewable energy," and "Sustainability." Furthermore, it was observed that the strategic intentions of renewable energy companies in Türkiye are similar to themes such as environmental awareness, sustainability, and leadership. While the vast majority of companies prioritize environmentally friendly production and sustainable development, statements regarding social impact and human resources are more limited.
