Tedarik Zinciri Görünürlüğü: Kontrol Kulesi Yaklaşımı

Öz

Günümüzün
rekabetçi iş ortamında değişen müşteri talepleri geleneksel tedarik zincirini
yeniden şekillendirmektedir. Küresel üretimin artması, üretim tesislerinin
deniz aşırı ülkelere dağılması ve küresel müşterilerin varlığı, tedarik
zincirlerini hiç olmadığı kadar karmaşık hale getirmiştir. Bu karmaşıklık, işletmeleri
operasyonlarını geçekleştirirken daha az maliyetle, daha fazla esneklik, daha
fazla hız, daha fazla görünürlük sağlamaya zorlamaktadır. Teknolojinin hızlı
bir şekilde gelişmesi ve tedarik zincirine de birçok alanda entegre
edilebilmesi sonucunda ortaya çıkan yeni yazılımlar, işletmelere iyi bir araç
olarak Tedarik Zinciri Kontrol Kulelerini sunmaktadır. Tedarik Zinciri Kontrol Kuleleri
stratejik hedeflere ulaşabilmek için daha fazla görünürlük sağlamak, tedarik
zinciri verilerini toplamak ve kullanmak için gerekli teknoloji, organizasyon
ve süreçleri koordine eden bir merkez olarak anahtar bir rol üstlenmektedir.



Bu çalışmanın amacı, küresel
tedarik zinciri faaliyetlerinde bulunan işletmeler için karmaşık tedarik
zinciri faaliyetlerinin en iyi uygulanabilmesi adına Tedarik Zinciri Kontrol
Kulesi sistemlerine dikkat çekmek ve bu alanda yer alan avantajlar ve
dezavantajlar konusunda bir farkındalık oluşturmaktır.

Supply Chain Visibility: Control Tower Approach

Öz

Changing customer demands in today's competitive
business environment are reshaping the traditional supply chain
. The increase in global
production, the disruption of production facilities overseas, and the presence
of global customers have made supply chains more complex than ever. This
complexity forces businesses to provide more flexibility, more speed, and more
visibility at lower costs when performing operations. As the technology evolves
rapidly and many areas can be integrated into the supply chain, emerging
software presents the Supply Chain Control Tower as a good tool for businesses.
Supply chain control towers play a key role as a center for coordinating the
technology, organization and processes required to achieve greater visibility,
acquisition and use of supply chain data to reach strategic objectives.



The aim of this study is to
draw attention to the Supply Chain Control systems and to raise awareness of
the advantages and disadvantages of this area in order to better perform
complex supply chain activities for businesses operating in global supply chain
operations.
