Öz

Uluslararası emekli göçü, Türkiye açısından uluslararası göçlere ilişkin yeni bir deneyim alanı olarak önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışma, Türkiye’ye yerleşen Avrupalı emekli göçmenlerin neden bu göç türünde Avrupa’nın diğer popüler varış ülkelerini değil de Türkiye’yi tercih ettikleri sorusuna emekli göçmenlerin Türkiye’yi temel tercih nedenleri ve Türkiye algıları ekseninde yanıt arayarak Türkiye’nin Avrupa’daki emekli göçlerindeki konumuna ve bu konumun sürdürülebilirliğine ilişkin çıkarımlarda bulunabilmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu kapsamda çalışma, Türkiye’ye yönelik emekli göçlerinde popüler bir varış bölgesi haline gelen Muğla ilinin Dalyan Beldesi’nde yürütülen alan çalışmasından elde edilen verileri temel almıştır
