Öz
The doubt is paid attention considerably in philosophy. Because philosophy requires doubt with which it obtained its identity through critical perspective. The
presence of multiple doubts understanding in history of thinking and also, existence
of decisive influence on the approach to the key issues show this. As is known,
“existence” and “knowledge” are main problem areas of philosophy. The existence
of God and being the subject of knowledge hold an important place in philosophy
as well. In this issue, scholars have different opinions and the quality of the doubt
attitudes have been determinant in this regard. Because it is clear that an attitude
adopting doubt as an aim and an attitude adopting doubt as an instrument will not
reach the same conclusion. The existence of doubt, not only for the philosopher as
a reality, it is possible for all people and it encapsulates the comprehension of God.
But, even though knowing God and the doubt on the way of believing him are possible
for some people, there will not be reason for doubt after knowing and believing
him. Because of the nature of their definition, neither knowledge nor faith can
coexist with doubt.

Felsefede şüphe oldukça önemsenir. Çünkü kendisine kimlik kazandıran eleştirel bakış üzerinden şüpheye gereksinim duyar. Düşünce tarihinde birden fazla
şüphecilik anlayışının varlığı ve temel konulara yaklaşımda belirleyici etkilerinin
bulunması bunu gösterir. Bilindiği üzere “varlık” ve “bilgi”, felsefenin temel problem
alanlarındandır. Tanrı’nın varlığı ve bilgiye konu olması da felsefede önemli
bir yer tutar. Bu konuda, düşünürler farklı görüşlere sahiptirler ve bunda şüpheci
tutumlarının niteliği belirleyici olmuştur. Çünkü şüpheyi amaç edinen bir tutum
ile şüpheyi araç edinen bir tutumun aynı sonuca varmayacakları açıktır. Şüphenin
varlığı, bir realite olarak sadece filozoflar için değil, bütün insanlar için olasıdır
ve bu, Tanrı’yı idrak konusunda da geçerli bir durumdur. Ancak Tanrı’yı bilmek
ve ona inanmak yolunda şüphe, kimileri için olası olsa da bilgi ve imandan sonra
şüpheye yer olmayacaktır. Çünkü tanımları gereği, ne bilgi ne de iman şüphe ile bir
arada olabilir.
