Öz

Ataerkil toplumlarda cinsellik, erkekler ve kadınlar arasındaki eşitsiz iktidar ilişkisini sürdürmenin araçlarından birisidir. Toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri gibi cinsellik de sosyal olarak inşa edilmektedir. Erkeklerin domine ettiği cinsellik, kadınlara sınırlar koyan bir tehdit ve korku unsurudur. Pek çok kadın, yaşamının bir döneminde cinsel şiddete maruz kalmaktadır. Bu çalışmada cinsel şiddete maruz kalan kadınların travmayla baş etmede yararlandıkları grup çalışmaları ele alınmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı kadınlarla gerçekleştirilen farklı grup çalışma örnekleri incelenerek iyi örnek oluşturacak bir feminist grup çalışma sürecini açıklamaktır. Feminist sosyal hizmet uygulamalarında kadınlarla gerçekleştirilen bireysel vaka çalışmalarının yanı sıra gönüllü olan kadınların gereksinim duydukları grup çalışmalarına katılmaları güçlenmelerine olanak sağlamaktadır. Bu çalışmada geleneksel grup çalışmasının amacı, yapısı, üyeleri, aşamaları ve grup liderinin nitelikleri feminist teorinin kavramlarıyla birlikte açıklanmaktadır. Bu yönüyle sosyal hizmet literatürüne ve uygulamasına katkıda bulunacağı düşünülmektedir.

FEMINIST GROUP WORK FOR WOMEN WHO EXPOSED TO SEXUAL ASSAULT

Öz

In patriarchal society, sexuality is one of the means of maintaining the unequal power relationship between men and women. Like gender roles, sexuality is socially constructed. Male-dominated sexuality imposes limits on women in other areas of life, and is a threat and an element of fear for women. Many women are sexually assaulted at some point in their lives. In this study, group studies that women who have been subjected to sexual assault benefit from in coping with the consequences of sexual assault are discussed. The aim of the study is to explain a feminist group work process that will set a good example by examining different group work examples with women. In addition to individual case studies with women in feminist social work practices, volunteering women's participation in group work they need can create different opportunities for their empowerment. In this study, the purpose of the group, its members, stages, and the qualities of the group leader, which are inherent in traditional group work, are explained together with the concepts of feminist theory. In this respect, it is thought that it will contribute to the literature and practice of social work.
