MÜZE UZMANLARININ OKULLARIN EĞİTİM AMAÇLI MÜZE ZİYARETLERİNE İLİŞKİN GÖRÜŞLERİ

Öz

Bu makalenin amacı okulların eğitim amaçlı müze ziyaretlerinin durumunu müze uzmanlarının görüşlerine dayalı olarak tartışmaktır. Çalışma için Ankara ve Ahlat’taki dört ayrı müzede müzelerin eğitimden sorunlu uzmanlarıyla yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat tekniğiyle görüşme yapılmıştır. Makalede önce müzelerin eğitimdeki yeri ve önemine dair literatüre dayalı açıklamalar yapılmıştır. Müze uzmanlarıyla yapılan görüşmelerden elde edilen verilere dayalı olarak okulların müze ziyaretlerindeki eksikler tespit edilmiş ve bu ziyaretlerin nasıl daha etkin kullanılabileceğine yönelik öneriler sunulmuştur.

Museum Experts’ Views on Schools’ Museum Visits for Educational Purpose

Abstract

This research aims to explore the place of museum visits for educational purposes in Turkey. During the research 4 experts from four different museums in two different cities, Ankara and Ahlat, were interviewed. In the first part of the article a general description of the benefit of museum visits is introduced by using relevant literature. On the basis of the research evidence, the shortcomings of the current practice of schools’ museum visits are identified and possible strategies for the better usage of museum visits for schools are suggested
