Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Aile Liderlik Yönelimleri ile Bazı Demografik Değişkenler Arasındaki İlişkilerin İncelenmesi

Öz

Bu çalışmada üniversite öğrencilerindeki aile liderlik yönelimi algısı ile bazı demografik değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmiştir. Araştırmaya 501 üniversite öğrencisi gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Veriler araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen Aile Liderlik Yönelimi Ölçeği ve Kişisel Bilgi Formu yardımıyla toplanmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesi puan ortalamalarına göre yapılmış, ikili ve çoklu karşılaştırmalarda veri setlerinin dağılım özelliklerine uygun teknikler kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen bulgulara göre, öğrenciler ailelerinde en fazla Ekonomik Liderlik Yönelimi olduğunu ifade etmektedirler. Bunu sırasıyla Sosyal ve Kültürel Aile Liderliği boyutları izlemektedir. Öğrenciler tarafından en düşük ortalama ile değerlendiren yönelim, ailelerdeki Politik Liderlik olmuştur. Ekonomik ve sosyal aile liderliği yönelimi puanları kadın öğrencilerde, kültürel aile liderliği yönelimi puanı ise erkek öğrencilerde anlamlı olarak daha yüksektir. Araştırmada ulaşılan sonuçlar ilgili literatür temelinde tartışılmıştır.

Examining the Relationship Between Family Leadership Orientation and Some Demographic Variables of College Students

Öz

In this study, the relationship between family leadership orientation and some demographic variables is examined at a university’ stutends in Central Anatolia. In total of 501 college students voluntarily participated in this study. Data were collected with the help of Family Leadership Orientation Scale which is developed by the researchers and demographic information form. In analyzing the data mean scores are used, in binary and multiple comparisons the dispersion properties of the data are taken into account. Findings showed that Economic Family Leadership Orientation has the highest mean score. This is followed by respectively Social and Cultural Family Leadership Orientation. Political Family Leadership Orientation has the lowest mean score. Women have higher scores in Economic and Social Family Leadership Orientation than men. Men have higher score in Cultural Family Leadership Orientation than women. The findings were discussed on the basis of relevant literature
