ATTITUDES EMPLOYERS IN BOLU TOWARDS EMPLOYEES WITH DISABILITIES
Öz
The aim of this study is to determine the attitudes of the employers towards the employees with disabilities. Study was realized with the survey model. The study domain consists of194 employers at Bolu Province. Scale for attitude of employers towards employees with disabilities, developed by Akardere, has been applied on 194 volunteer employers by special education teacher candidates in the study conducted with the survey model, and the data has been analyzed with the use of t test and Anova. As a result of the study, it has been found that the attitudes of employers towards employees are at a medium level; that said attitude variedbased on the variable of having a relative with disability while the attitude did not differ by the variables of gender, age, education level, sector of employment, term of employment and disability situation. It is recommended that support of career and work coaches should be obtained to change the attitudes of the employers; and the study should be conducted at large scale workplaces in metropolitan cities in the future.
