The Evaluation of Experiences regarding Academic Achievement of Science High School Student
Öz
In this study aims to evaluate the experiences related to academic achievement of students
in science high schools. This research is planned as phenomenological research. The study
group consists of 20 students studying in 9th class in Konya Meram Science High School,
determined by the homogeneous sampling method. Data were collected through interviews of
qualitative research techniques. Semi-structured interviews was used as data collection form
prepared by the researchers. Data was analyzed by the content analysis method. The themes
that are obtained in this study; people who have contributed to the success of student, the
quality of instruction in schools, completion training, learning strategies used of students, the
partnership in the family and student’s goals, the person who received the model and features,
variables that affecting learning motivation.
