This study explores the integration of environmental management practices and Islamic approaches to foster sustainable water ecology in Turkey. Given the increasing pressures on freshwater resources due to urbanization, industrialization, and population growth, sustainable management strategies have become crucial. The research conducted using the R programming language, focuses on the integration of green technologies, environmental policies, and citizen participation as key elements in achieving sustainable water management. Advanced technologies, such as water quality monitoring systems and ecosystem-based management, are identified as effective strategies for reducing water pollution and preserving aquatic ecosystems. Bibliometric analyses provide a significant contribution to the literature by analyzing the impacts of integrating Islamic approaches with modern environmental management strategies in both local and global contexts. Additionally, the paper highlights the role of Islamic principles in water management, emphasizing the concept of ‘‘Khilafah’’ as a religious obligation to protect and conserve water resources. The study concludes through bibliometric analysis that integrating environmental management practices with Islamic teachings can significantly enhance water conservation efforts, especially in regions where religious values are deeply ingrained in daily life. The findings suggest that a holistic strategy combining contemporary technologies, policies, citizen participation, and religious principles is essential for achieving sustainable water ecology.
