THE EFFECTS OF DIGITALIZATION ON SUPPLY CHAIN FINANCE

Öz

This study examines the effects of digitalization on supply chain finance within a theoretical framework. In supply chain management, digital technologies (such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and cloud computing) offer significant innovations in optimizing financial flows, speeding up access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises, reducing information asymmetry, and increasing operational efficiency. The article discusses the impacts of these technologies on supply chain finance through case studies and refers to results obtained from industry applications. This study serves as a guide both in the academic field by establishing a theoretical foundation and in industry applications by providing practical recommendations. The forward-looking proposals focus on reducing costs, improving decision-making processes, and ensuring sustainability through the integration of digital technologies. Thus, the potential contributions of digital technologies to supply chain finance are revealed. In this context, our study provides information on the contributions of digitalization to financial processes in light of the literature and emphasizes the importance of empirical studies for future research.

DİJİTALLEŞMENİN TEDARİK ZİNCİRİ FİNANSMANI ÜZERİNE ETKİLERİ

Öz

Bu çalışma, dijitalleşmenin tedarik zinciri finansmanına olan etkilerini teorik bir çerçevede incelemektedir. Tedarik zinciri yönetiminde, dijital teknolojiler (blok zincir, yapay zeka, nesnelerin interneti ve bulut bilişim gibi) finansal akışları optimize edip küçük ve orta büyüklükteki işletmeler için finansmana erişimi hızlandırma, bilgi asimetrisini azaltma ve operasyonel verimliliği artırma konusunda önemli yenilikler sunmaktadır. Makalede, bu teknolojilerin tedarik zinciri finansmanına olan etkileri örnek olaylarla ele alınmış ve sektördeki uygulamalardan elde edilen sonuçlara değinilmiştir. Bu çalışma, hem teorik bir temel oluşturarak akademik alanda hem de pratik öneriler sunarak sektör uygulamalarında yol göstericilik yapmaktadır. İleriye yönelik öneriler, dijital teknolojilerin entegrasyonuyla maliyetleri düşürme, karar alma süreçlerini iyileştirme ve sürdürülebilirliği sağlama konularına odaklanmaktadır. Böylece, dijital teknolojilerin tedarik zinciri finansmanında yaratabileceği potansiyel katkılar ortaya konulmuştur. Bu bağlamda, çalışmamız literatür ışığında dijitalleşmenin finansal süreçlere sunduğu katkılar hakkında bilgi vermekte ve gelecekteki araştırmalar için ampirik çalışmaların önemini vurgulamaktadır.
