Yıl 2022, Cilt: 24 Sayı: 43, 1051 - 1068, 30.12.2022

Öz

This study aimed to examine to what extent organizational prestige affects career satisfaction and the mediating role of organizational identification and organizational trust in this interaction. In order to test the research model, data were collected using a questionnaire technique from 389 white-collar employees selected by a simple random sampling method from businesses operating in Gaziantep 5th Organized Industrial Zone. By using PROCESS v3.4 macro application developed by Andrew Hayes (2018), the research model was tested. The findings obtained as a result of the research showed that organizational prestige has a significant and positive effect on career satisfaction. However, it has been found that organizational prestige has a significant and positive effect on organizational identification and organizational trust. Finally, it has been concluded that organizational identification and organizational trust have a partial mediating role in the relationship between organizational prestige and career satisfaction.
