Öz

Laser Doppler flowmetri (LDF) hareket halindeki nesneden yansıyan radyasyonun, frekansında oluşan Doppler kaymasının ölçülmesi temeline dayanan bir tekniktir. Doku kan akımının sürekli ve non invaziv ölçümü, düşük güçlü monokromatik laser ışını taşıyan optik probla sağlanabilir. Tıp ve dişhekimliği alanlarında deneysel amaçlı kullanılan LDF klinik alanlarda da kendine yaygın kullanım alanı bulmaya başlamıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, laser Doppler akım ölçümünün tıp ve dişhekimliğinde kullanım alanları, sağladığı avantaj, dezavantaj ve tekniğin sınırlı yanlarını ortaya koyarak, konunun daha kapsamlı değerlendirilmesine katkı sağlamaktır
