Modified Nodal Analysis of Zero Current Switching Resonant Push-Pull Converter

Öz

In this study, a conventional hard-switching push-pull DC–DC converter topology is transformed into a resonant converter by employing a soft-switching technique. The governing circuit equations of the resulting resonant topology are systematically derived. An analytical model based on Modified Nodal Analysis (MNA) is developed to investigate the performance of the proposed soft-switching push-pull converter. Unlike the conventional push-pull configuration, the integration of a resonant tank enables Zero Current Switching (ZCS), which significantly reduces the thermal load and current stress on the semiconductor devices.
