Soğanlı Süs Bitkilerinden Glayör, Frezya ve Zambakta Dinlenme ve Çiçeklenme

Öz

Bu derleme çalışmada, soğanlı bitkilerden glayöl, frezya ve zambakta dinlenmenin oluşumu ve kırılması ile çiçeklenmenin mekanizması incelenmiştir. Dinlenme, hormonların aktivitesi sonucu, soğanın metabolik faaliyetlerin kısmi olarak yavaşlatılması ile oluşan büyüme durgunluğu olarak ifade edilmektedir. Aynı zamanda, dinlenme, yüksek ve düşük sıcaklıklar ile kuraklık gibi olumsuz çevre şartlarında bitkinin hayatta kalmasını sağlayan bir mekanizmadır. Soğanlı bitkilerde de, diğer bitkilerde olduğu gibi vejetatif gelişme, çiçeklenme ve dinlenme olmak üzere üç gelişme aşaması bulunmaktadır. Soğan dikiminin ardından bitki vejetatif olarak gelişmekte, ardından vejetatif meristem generatif meristeme dönüşerek çiçek sapı oluşturmakta ve çiçeklenme ile eş zamanlı olarak yavru soğan oluşmaktadır. Oluşan yavru soğanlar belirli bir dinlenme döneminden sonra tekrar çiçeklenmektedir. Soğanlı bitkilerde dinlenmenin kırılması ve çiçeklenme için, soğuk ve sıcak uygulamaları, dışsal hormon uygulamaları ile fotoperiyodizm uygulamaları yapılmaktadır. Düşük ve yüksek sıcaklıkların bitkinin dinlenmeden çıkmasını sağlayarak, çiçeklenmeye neden olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Dışsal büyümeyi düzenleyici uygulamaları ise hem içsel hormonların üretiminin arttırılması, hem de oransal olarak uyarıcı miktarının arttırılması veya engelleyici miktarının azaltılması şeklinde etki gösterdiği görülmüştür.
