Reletionship Happiness Öuestionnaire (RHQ): Reliability and Validity in Turkish Sample

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the reliability and validity of The Relationship Happiness Öuestionnaire' (RHQ) for married people developed by Fietcher, Fitness and Blampied. The RHQ is a 6-item self-report measurement and each item is assessed on a 7-point scale. Method: RHQ was administered to 83 couple (total 166 person). The Marital Adjustment Test was used for the criterion-related validity. Results: Internal reliability, split-half, test-retest reliability, item analyses, criterion-related validity analyses has demonstrated its reliability and validity. Conclusion: RHQ was identified as a reliable and a valid instrument. The test can be used in Turkish populations as a rapid measure of relationship happiness.

İLİŞKİLERDE MUTLULUK ÖLÇEĞİ (İMÖ): GÜVENİRLİK VE GEÇERLİK ÇALIŞMASI

Öz

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, Fletcher, Fitness ve Blampied tarafından geliştirilen İlişkilerde Mutluluk Ölçeği-İMÖ (Relationship Happiness Questionnaire)'nin evli kişiler için güvenirlik ve geçerliğini belirlemektir. Ölçek 6 maddeden oluşmakta ve her madde yedi noktalı bir ölçek üzerinden değerlendirilmektedir. Yöntem: Ölçek 83 çifte (toplam 166 kişi) uygulanmış ve ölçüt-bağımlı geçerlik için Evlilikte Uyum Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: İç tutarlık, iki yarım test, test-tekrar test, madde analizi ve ölçüt bağımlı geçerlik analizleri yapılmıştır. Ölçeğin Türkçe'sinin güvenilir ve geçerli olduğu ortaya konmuştur. Sonuç: İMÖ'nin güvenilir ve geçerli olduğu belirlenmiş, ilişkilerde yaşanan mutluluğu ölçen hızlı bir ölçek olarak kültürümüze kazandırılmıştır
