The am of the study s to nvestgate the nfluences of computer asssted hypertext envronment on students' success of language learnng. It also ams to nvestgate students' opnons on teachng through hypertexts. In the study, mxed method was appled. The sample of the study ncludes 58 8 grade students (expermental group=30 - control group=28). The subject of word order (orderng of sentence parts) were taught to students n expermental group n hypertext envronment and to the ones n control group wth conventonal technques. The quanttatve data was gathered through 'Grammar Achevement Test' whch was created by the researchers and analysed by usng SPSS 16. The qualtatve data was gathered through ntervew form and analysed by usng content analyss technque. The study found that teachng Turksh grammar wth hypertexts had more postve effects on students' success compared to the conventonal technques. The study also found that the students had varous opnons about teachng through hypertexts
