Uluslararası Öğrencilerin Sağlık Hizmeti Tecrübeleri ve Sağlık Hizmeti Kullanma Eğilimleri Üzerine Bir Araştırma

Öz

Bu
çalışma Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi'nde öğrenim gören uluslararası öğrencilerin
sağlık hizmetleri kullanımın değerlendirilmesini amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma ile
ayrıca, öğrencilerin Türkiye’yi tercih etme nedenleri, Türkiye’de bulunma
süreleri ve eğitim süreçleri ile sağlık hizmeti kullanım sıklıkları gibi sosyo demografik
özelliklerini tespit etmeye yönelik sorular da araştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın
evrenini; 2017-2018 eğitim ve öğretim yılı içerisinde, Süleyman Demirel
Üniversitesi’nin farklı fakülte, enstitü ve bölümlerinde öğrenim görmekte olan
1644 uluslararası öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, 26 madde ve 6
boyuttan oluşan bir anket aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Anket; araştırmacılar
tarafından literatür kapsamında oluşturulmuştur. Söz konusu evrenden kolayda
örnekleme yolu ile 235 öğrenciye ulaşılabilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda;
öğrencilerin Türkiye’de en fazla eğitim almak amacıyla bulundukları ve bu
eğitimin
öğrenci hareketliliği programından faydalanmak ve
Türkiye’nin kültürünü tanımak amacıyla gerçekleştiği tespit edilmiştir.  Ö
ğrencilerin
sağlık hizmetine erişim düzeyi arttıkça ve yakın çevreden sosyal destek
gördükçe Türkiye’deki yaşam şartlarından memnuniyet düzeyinin arttığı sonucuna
ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca; sağlık hizmeti kullanımında ayrımcılık ve eşitsizliğe
yönelik algılarının düşük olması sebebiyle Türkiye’deki yaşam memnuniyetlerinin
yüksek olduğu söylenebilir.

A Study on International Students' Healthcare Experiences and Tendencies in Using Healthcare Services

Öz

The aim of this study; the evaluation of international students' healthcare experience and research of their tendency to use healthcare. The study also reasons to prefer Turkey of students, such as residence time and training process in Turkey is aimed to determine the socio demographic characteristics. The universe of the research; during 2017-2018 academic year, 1644 international students studying in different faculties, institutes and departments of Süleyman Demirel University are formed. 235 students were easily reached from the universe in question by sampling. The research data were collected through a questionnaire consisting of 26 items and 6 dimensions. As a result of the study; their students in order to get the most training in Turkey and to benefit from this training and student mobility programs have been found to occur in order to recognize Turkey's culture. Students increasing the level of access to health services and social support they saw the immediate vicinity of the living conditions resulted in an increased level of satisfaction has been achieved in Turkey. Also; the utilization of health services for the perception of discrimination and inequality can be said that high due to the low life satisfaction in Turkey.
