Kurumsal İletişimin Gizli Bariyeri: Öğrenilmiş Çaresizlik

Öz

Toplumsal bir varlık olan insanın, kolektif yaşama katılımı büyük oranda kurduğu iletişim biçimleriyle gerçekleşmektedir. Bireyin iletişim kurma yolu ile onun bir toplulukla uyum içinde hareket etmesi yakından ilintilidir. İletişim biçimlerine ve davranışlara yön veren birçok parametre bulunmaktadır. Bu parametrelerin başında sahip olunan öğretiler gelmektedir. Çaresizlik de bu öğretilerden biridir. Öğrenilmiş çaresizlik hem bireysel hem kolektif düzeyde birçok olumsuzlukta rol oynayan bir öğretidir. Bu çalışmanın temel iddiası göz ardı edilmiş bir gerçeklik olarak, kurumsal iletişim pratiklerinde öğrenilmiş çaresizlik kavramının büyük oranda rol oynadığıdır. Bunun için çalışmada ilkin kurumsal iletişim kavramına yönelik genel bir çerçeve çizilmekte, ardından öğrenilmiş çaresizlik kavramına yönelik kuramsal düzeyde aktarım yapılmakta, kavramı tespit etme yöntemleri ve çeşitlerine değinilerek, kurum içi iletişimdeki yansımaları ele alınmaktadır. Çalışma sonuç ve öneriler bölümü ile nihayetlendirilmektedir.

The Secret Handicap of Corporate Communication: Learned Helplessness

Öz

The participation of the human being, a social entity, in collective life is largely realized through the forms of communication it establishes. It is closely related to the individual's ability to communicate and act in harmony with a community. There are many parameters that guide communication styles and behaviors. Teachings that are held at the top of these parameters. Desperation is one of these teachings. Learned helplessness is a teaching that plays a role in many negativities at both the individual and collective levels. The main claim of this study is that, as a neglected reality, the concept of learned helplessness plays a major role in corporate communication practices. For this purpose, the study first draws a general framework for the concept of corporate communication, and then, a theoretical transfer is made to the concept of learned helplessness, the methods of determining the concept and its reflections are discussed in the internal communication. The study is finalized with the results and recommendations section.
