Öz

Müzeler, kültürel kimliğin yeniden inşası ve kolektif belleğin aktarımı için sembol mekanlardır. Filistin Müzesi, Filistin halkının tarihini, kültürel mirasını ve direnişini sanatsal eserler aracılığıyla aktaran önemli bir mekândır. Özellikle 2023–2024 yıllarında İsrail’in Gazze saldırıları sonrasında yürütülen kültürel ve sanatsal etkinlikler, müzenin dinamik ve dönüştürücü rolünü bir kez daha ortaya koymuştur. Bu çalışma, Filistin sanatının direniş estetiği ile nasıl örüldüğünü ve müzenin bu sürece nasıl müdahil olduğunu incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma, Filistin Müzesi’nin koleksiyonları, sergileri ve sanat projeleri üzerinden betimsel yöntemle yürütülmüştür. Görsel eserler, müze söyleşileri ve belgeler sistematik olarak incelenmiş; sanatın direniş estetiği, toplumsal kültürel hafızayı koruma işlevi ve politik mesaj iletimi bağlamında analiz edilmiştir. Postmodern müze anlayışı, Filistin Müzesi bağlamında yalnızca geçmişi belgelemekle kalmayıp, İsrail-Filistin savaşının güncel yansımalarını ve Filistin halkının direnişini deneyimsel ve etkileşimli bir şekilde görünür kılmaktadır. Sergiler ve interaktif projeler, ziyaretçiyi sürece dahil ederek kolektif hafızayı yeniden inşa eder ve direnişi toplumsal bir deneyim olarak aktarır. Böylece müze, sanat aracılığıyla politik mesajları ileten ve halkın dayanışmasını güçlendiren estetik bir direniş mekânına dönüşmektedir.

The Palestinian Museum: Aesthetic Resistance, Memory, and Cultural Continuity

Öz

Museums are symbolic spaces for the reconstruction of cultural identity and the transmission of collective memory. The Palestine Museum is a significant venue for conveying the history, cultural heritage, and resistance of the Palestinian people through artistic works. Cultural and artistic events, particularly those following the Israeli attacks on Gaza in 2023–2024, have once again demonstrated the dynamic and transformative role of the museum. This study aims to examine how Palestinian art is interwoven with the aesthetics of resistance and how the museum participates in this process. The research was conducted using a descriptive method through the Palestine Museum's collections, exhibitions, and art projects. Visual works, museum interviews, and documents were systematically examined and analyzed within the context of art's aesthetics of resistance, its function in preserving social cultural memory, and its ability to convey political messages. Within the context of the Palestine Museum, the postmodern museum approach not only documents the past but also makes visible the current repercussions of the Israeli-Palestinian war and the resistance of the Palestinian people in an experiential and interactive way. Exhibitions and interactive projects engage visitors, reconstructing collective memory and conveying resistance as a social experience. Thus, the museum becomes a space of aesthetic resistance that conveys political messages through art and strengthens public solidarity.
