EVLİYA ÇELEBİ’NİN SEYAHATNAMESİNDE YER ALAN TEDAVİ YÖNTEMLERİNİN HALK KÜLTÜRÜ AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ

Mehmet Zilli whose real name is Evliya Çelebi was born in İstanbul, Unkapanı in the 25th of March in 2011. Evliya Çelebi, at the beginning of the ‘Seyehatname’, while explaining the interest of his love towards travelling, he explained that he saw Hz Muhammed in his dream and instead of asking for ‘Şefaat ya Resulallah’ from him, he asked for ‘Seyahat ya Resulallah’. So, Hz Muhammed gave him the opportunity to travel and se other countries as he wanted. After this dream, Evliya Çelebi, in 1635, he started to wander Istanbul and wrote down what he saw and heard, then travelled through thousands of kilometres in three continents for almost 50 years and explained what he saw. Apart from Anatolia, from Mekke to Kahire, from Isfaha to Viyana, he travelled different countries and he transformed what he saw in his book. In Seyehatname of Evliya Çelebi, there are not only cities, buildings and hastorical works but also sightseeings, life qualifications of the people and language, traditions, beliefs and applications of the people. So seyehatname is not only a writing about travelling but it is also historiy, sociology in short resource book for the social sciences baceuse it holded lots of fields in it..In Seyehatname of Evliya Çelebi, there are not only cities, buildings and hastorical works but also sightseeings, life qualifications of the people and language, traditions, beliefs and applications of the people. This research will be evaluated it the conditions of the time and the applications will be compared to now. 

Asıl adı Derviş Mehmed Zillî olan Evliya Çelebi 25 Mart 1611’de İstanbul Unkapanı’da doğmuştur. Evliya Çelebi Seyahatname’nin girişinde seyahate duyduğu ilgiyi anlatırken bir gece rüyasında Peygamberimiz Hazreti Muhammed'i gördüğünü, ondan "şefaat ya Resulallah" diyerek şefaat isteyecek yerde, şaşırıp "seyahat ya Resulallah" dediğini, bunun üzerine Peygamberimiz'in ona gönlünün uyarınca gezme, uzak ülkeleri görme imkânı verdiğini yazar. Evliya Çelebi bu rüya üzerine 1635'te, önce İstanbul'u dolaşmaya, gördüklerini, duyduklarını yazmaya başlamış, sonra da 50 yıla yakın süre üç kıtada binlerce kilometre dolaşıp, gezdiği gördüğü yerleri anlatmıştır. Anadolu dışında Mekke’den Kahire’ye, İsfahan’dan Viyana’ya kadar değişik ülkeleri de gezip, buralarda gördüklerini de 10 ciltlik eserine aktarmıştır. Evliya Çelebi’nin Seyahatname’sinde sadece şehirler, binalar, tarihi eserler yer almaz. Eserde gezilen yerler, insanının yaşam özellikleri, dili, geleneği, kültürü, inançları ve uygulamaları ile verilir. Bu nedenle Seyahatname sadece gezi yazısı değil aynı zamanda tarih, sosyoloji 17. yüz yıl yaşamını pek çok yönden ele alması nedeni ile sosyal alan araştırmalarının kaynak kitabı niteliğindedir. Biz de bu çalışmamızda, Seyahatnamede gezilen yerler anlatılırken, o yörede uygulanan sağlık ile ilgili tedavi yöntemlerinin halk kültürü açısından incelemesini yapacağız. Bu inceleme eserin yazıldığı dönem itibari ile ile değerlendirilip, günümüzdeki uygulamalar ile mukayese edilecektir.
