Karagöz is a tradition thaı consist of player, apprentices, audience and context. it 's our opinion that in order to safeguard and to deve/op Karagöx, all the elements of this tradition must be kepi alive together. "Karagö::. School " (opened 1 997 in İstanbul) is successfııl example of the combination of methodic education and master-apprentice relations. Hasan Huseyin Karabag is a student who trained in this school and he stil the art of Karagöz. in this article, we will discuss the idea that the safeguarding of Karagöz can be only possib/e by educating neıv Karagö:: p/ayers and for p/ayers and aııdience providing contexts. Our discııssion, in this article, will take place on the Karagöz School and a student of it, Hayali Hasan Hüseyin Karabağ.
