The effects of music on human nature still continue to be one of the popular topics. Music, which has been used for ritual purposes since prehistoric times, has taken on different forms today. Today, music is performed in every environment where people exist. For this reason, the problem of consumption of music constitutes one of the main arguments of academic issues. The performance of music in a certain order continues to attract the attention of those working in the field of archaeo music. Today, the regular/irregular pitch of music, vocal training, notation, and harmony have spurred attempts to find origins. In this regard, we provide our most important source of information from Ancient Greek music. Vase paintings from this period and sources belonging to ancient authors provide very important information. These sources are also extremely critical in the creation of iconographies of musical instruments. We will examine our work in the light of the mentioned sources and take a look at the aforementioned problematics. In the light of the findings, we can say that Ancient Greek music was very influential in the origin of modern European music systems.

Müziğin insan doğası üzerindeki etkileri halen popüler konulardan biri olmaya devam etmektedir. Tarih öncesi çağlardan itibaren ritüel amaçlı kullanılan müzik, günümüzde farklı formlara bürünmüştür. Müzik bugün insanın bulunduğu her ortamda icra edilmektedir.
