BİLANÇO VE GELİR TABLOLARININ TOPSIS YÖNTEMİ İLE ANALİZİ: BORSA İSTANBUL UYGULAMASI

Öz

Borsa yatırımcıları için firmaların performansları önemli bir karar unsuru olmakla birlikte, performans kavramınıbelirleyen pekçok gösterge ve ölçütün bulunması, genel bir değerlendirme yapmayı güçleştirmektedir. Bu değerlendirme sürecinin bir çok ölçütlü karar problemi olarak ele alınması ve uygun yaklaşımlar ile yatırımcıya yöngösterecek bir karar destek mekanizmasının tasarlanması mümkündür. Bu bağlamda, çalışmada, reel sektördeönemli bir paya sahip olan Metal Eşya Makina sektörünü önemseyen yatırımcılara destek olmak adına, TOPSISyaklaşımını benimseyen bir performans analizi ortak koymak amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında, Borsa İstanbul’da işlem gören ve Metal Eşya Makina sektöründe yer alan yirmi yedi firmanın 2014 ve 2015 yılı performansları, on bir finansal rasyo gözönünde bulundurularak incelenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, en yüksekve en düşük performansı gösteren firmaların sıralaması incelenen yıllar itibariyle büyük ölçüde benzerlik göstermektedir. Fakat, ilk yıl yüksek performans gösteren bazı firmaların takip eden yılda sıralamasında büyük değişiklikler olduğu durumlar da gözlemlenmiştir

THE ANALYSIS OF BALANCE SHEET AND INCOME STATEMENT WITH TOPSIS: AN APPLICA- TION ON BORSA İSTANBUL

Öz

As well as performances of firms are important decision components for stock market investors, the fact thatthere exist many indicators and measures identifying performance concept makes general evaluation difficult. Itis possible to treat this evaluation process as a multicriteria decision problem and to design a desicion supportsystem which will direct the investors with appropriate approaches. In this context, it is aimed at exhibiting aperformance analysis espousing TOPSIS method, in order to support investors who consider Metal GoodsMechinery industry, which has an important role in real sector. Within the scope of the study, 2014 and 2015performances of twenty-seven companies listed on Borsa İstanbul and from Metal Goods Mechinery industry,are analyzed by taking eleven financial ratio into consideration. The results indicate that the order of companieshaving the highest and the lowest performances are substantially similar in respect to analysed years. But, it isalso observed that the order of some companies which show high performance in the first year change dramaticallyin the following year
