Today, the media is a powerful tool to change and direct the feelings, thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs of individuals and society. The media is functional for the transmission, learning and religious socialization of religious knowledge. The subject of the research is to handle the Turkish public religiousness over the religious questions asked to the Diyanet. The aim of the research is to reveal the religious understanding of the participants, the problem areas related to the religion in their mind and their attitudes towards religiosity in program of Diyanete Soralım (Let’s Ask the Diyanet) broadcasted on Diyanet Television. The study was conducted with qualitative research methods and qualitative content analysis. The research covers the fifty programs selected from one hundred and fifty sections of Diyanete Soralım in two broadcasting periods of 2017-2018. As a result of the questions, how the religion is experienced in the social field, the attitudes of the participants in connection with the religion and the Turkish public piety are discussed.
