Ferula sp. Ekstraktının İlavesinin Sazan (Cyprinus carpio) Sperm Kalite Parametreleri Üzerindeki Etkileri

Öz

Ferula sp., Apiaceae familyasına ait geleneksel bir bitkidir ve dünyada yaygın olarak dağılım gösterir. Ferula sp., afrodizyak, antihemolitik, antioksidan, antikoagülan, antikonvülsan, gevşetici, antihiperglisemik, asetilkolinesteraz inhibitör, antidepresan, antiülser ve antitümör özelliklere sahiptir. Bu çalışmada, Ferula sp. ilavesinin sazan (Cyprinus carpio) sperm motilitesi üzerindeki etkisini değerlendirmek için ilk kez denemeler yapılmıştır. Denemede farklı konsantrasyonlarda [0 µg L-1 (Kontrol), 30 µg L-1, 60 µg L-1, 90 µg L-1 ve 120 µg L-1] Ferula sp. ekstraktı kullanılmıştır. Sperm motilite yüzdesi ve süresi ile sperm kalite parametreleri [eğrisel hız (VCL), titreme katsayısı (WOB), ortalama katsayısı (STR), ortalama yolun hızı (VAP), düz çizgi hızı (VSL); lateral kafa yer değiştirmesinin genliği (ALH) ve hareketin doğrusallığı (LIN)] belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışma, Ferula sp. varlığının sperm motilitesinde artışa neden olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. 30 µg L-1 konsantrasyonda süre (71,00±1,05 s) ve motilite oranındaki (%98,33±2,89) artışlar istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu belirlenmiştir (p<0,05). Sonuç olarak, aktivasyon solüsyonuna Ferula sp. eklenmesi C. carpio türünün sperm motilitesini artırabilir.
