Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate the content of Turkish provincial national education directors’ course year opening messages of 2014-2015 academic year. For this purpose, 47 provincial national education directors’ school year opening messages which was published in the official website of the provincial education director of national education at the beginning of the academic year 20142015 were subjected to content analysis by using document analysis method. Content analysis revealed that the messages’ of the provincial education directors’ are take place under the themes of “messages for teachers; general targets for education (vision); messages for parents; messages for students; highlighting the importance of education; human resources and quantitative assessment of physical capacity; aphorisms and poems; evaluation of existing actions in education; concrete goals for education, steps; factors affecting education today; messages for managers; thanks to the contribution to education; messages for the provincial public and messages for other educational staff”.Message contents in each theme discussed in detail with the sub-codes generated

TÜRKİYE’DE GÖREV YAPMAKTA OLAN İL MİLLİ EĞİTİM MÜDÜRLERİNİN 2014-2015 EĞİTİM- ÖĞRETİM YILI DERS YILI AÇILIŞ MESAJLARININ DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Öz

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’de görev yapmakta olan il milli eğitim müdürlerinin yayınlamış oldukları ders yılı açılış mesajı içeriklerinin değerlendirilmesidir. Bu amaçla 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılı başında il milli eğitim müdürlüklerine ait resmi web sitelerinde yayınlanmış olan 47 il milli eğitim müdürünün ders yılı açılış mesajları doküman analizi yöntemi kullanılarak içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. İçerik analizi sonucunda il milli eğitim müdürlerinin mesajlarının “öğretmenlere yönelik mesajlar; eğitime yönelik genel hedefler (vizyon); velilere yönelik mesajlar; öğrencilere yönelik mesajlar; eğitimin önemine yönelik vurgular; insan kaynakları ve fiziki kapasitenin sayısal değerlendirilmesi; özlü sözler ve şiirler; eğitimde mevcut icraatların değerlendirilmesi; eğitime yönelik somut hedefler, adımlar; günümüzde eğitime etki eden unsurlar; yöneticilere yönelik mesajlar; eğitime katkıya teşekkür; il halkına yönelik mesajlar ve diğer eğitim personellerine yönelik mesajlar” temaları altında yer aldığı ortaya koyulmuştur. Her bir tema altında yer alan mesaj içerikleri ise oluşturulan alt kodlar aracılığıyla detaylı biçimde incelenerek tartışılmıştır
