KENDİNE YÖNELİK MÜKEMMELİYETÇİLİK İLE GELECEK VİZYONLARI ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİDE AKILCI OLMAYAN İNANÇLARIN ARACILIK ROLÜ

Öz

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ergenlerde kendine yönelik mükemmeliyetçilik ile gelecek vizyonları arasındaki ilişkide akılcı olmayan inançların aracılık rolünü incelemektir. Araştırmanın bu amacına ulaşabilmek için Hatay/Antakya merkezde Anadolu, İmam Hatip ve Özel Liseye devam eden 136 kız (yaş, X ̅= 15,3), 121 erkek (yaş, X ̅= 15,2) toplam 257 ergenden yüz yüze veri toplanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Gelecek Vizyonları Ölçeği, Çocuk/Ergen Mükemmeliyetçilik Ölçeği, Akılcı Olmayan İnançlar Ölçeği ve Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Veriler üzerinde betimsel, korelasyonel, çoklu doğrusal regresyon ve aracılık analizi yapılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre bağımlı değişken gelecek vizyonları ile bağımsız değişken kendine yönelik mükemmeliyetçilik ve aracı değişken akılcı olmayan inançlar arasında negatif yönlü, bağımsız değişken kendine yönelik mükemmeliyetçilik ve aracı değişken akılcı olmayan inançlar arasında da pozitif yönlü anlamlı ilişkilerin olduğu görülmüştür. Araştırmanın asıl amacına yönelik elde edilen bulgulara göre ergenlerde kendine yönelik mükemmeliyetçilik ile gelecek vizyonları arasındaki ilişkideki toplam etki anlamlıyken, akılcı olmayan inançların aracı değişken olarak dahil olmasıyla bu iki değişken arasındaki ilişkideki doğrudan etki anlamsız hale gelmiştir. Bu bağlamda, nihai olarak ergenlerin kendilerine yönelik mükemmeliyetçilik ile gelecek vizyonları arasındaki ilişkide akılcı olmayan inançların aracılık rolünün olduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular literatür çerçevesinde tartışılarak yorumlanmıştır.
