The contributions to fauna of Aphrophoridae Amyot & Serville, 1843 (Auchenorrhyncha: Hemiptera) of Middle and South Kuseyr Plateau (Hatay/Türkiye)

Öz

In this study, 293 adult Aphrophoridae Amyot & Serville, 1843 specimens collected from different habitats of the Central and Southern Kuseyr Plateau of Hatay between April and November 2015 were evaluated. As a result of the examination, 5 genera and 6 species belonging to the Aphrophoridae family were identified. Among these species, Aphrophora alni (Fallén, 1805), Lepyronia coleoptrata (Linnaeus, 1758), Philaenus signatus Melichar, 1896 and P. spumarius (Linnaeus, 1758) were determined to be new regional records for Hatay. All identified taxa were photographed to show their important characters, regional and Palaearctic distribution maps and identification keys were created, and some biological and ecological characteristics of the species were mentioned and zoogeographic comments were made. In addition, in order to benefit researchers who will study this subject in the future, an identification key was prepared for the identified species, and their aedeagus, which is an important character in identification, were photographed from the ventral side. In the last section, information is given about the damages caused to economically important plant species and the plant diseases they vector.

Öz

Bu çalışmada Hatay’ın Orta ve Güney Kuseyr Platosu’nun farklı habitatlarından 2015 yılının Nisan-Kasım ayları arasında 293 adet ergin Aphrophoridae Amyot & Serville, 1843 örneği değerlendirilmiştir. Yapılan inceleme sonucunda Aphrophoridae familyasına ait 5 cins ve 6 tür tespit edilmiştir. Bu türlerden Aphrophora alni (Fallén, 1805), Lepyronia coleoptrata (Linnaeus, 1758), Philaenus signatus Melichar, 1896 ve P. spumarius (Linnaeus, 1758) Hatay için bölgesel yeni kayıttır. Teşhis edilen tüm taksanın önemli karakterleri gösterilecek şekilde fotoğraflanmış, bölgesel ve Palaearktik yayılış haritaları ile teşhis anahtarları oluşturulmuş ve türlerin bazı biyolojik ve ekolojik özelliklerine değinilerek, zoocoğrafik yorumlarda bulunulmuştur. Ayrıca bundan sonra bu konuyu çalışacak araştırmacılara fayda sağlamak için tespit edilen türlere yönelik bir teşhis anahtarı hazırlanmış, teşhiste önemli bir karakter olan aedeagusları ventralden fotoğraflanmıştır. Son bölümde ekonomik öneme sahip bitki türlerinde vermiş olduk zararlar ve vektörlüklerini yaptıkları bitki hastalıkları hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir.
