The Concept of Logic and Basıc Forms of Reasonıng in Aristotle

Öz

 

This article describes how to understand the logic of Aristotle and which form the basic reasoning with the subject of logic has attempted to present a brief on what is happening accordingly. In this sense, a classic work, as well as the works of various experts in logic, Kneale-Kneale's "The Development of Logic" has been working mainly been used and translated into Turkish. Logic means for Aristotle, is a preparatory for science. Its main subjects are of concepts, of propositions and of syllogism. Syllogism corresponds to apodictic reasoning but dialectical reasoning and eristic-sophistic reasoning are also deductive reasoning like apodictic. Aristotle accepts that necessary reasoning is the apodictic.

Aristoteles’te Mantık Kavramı ve Temel Akıl Yürütme Çeşitleri

Bu makalede Aristoteles’in mantıktan ne anladığı ve mantığın konusu ile temel akıl yürütme biçimlerinin ona göre neler olduğu kısa bir şekilde sunulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu anlamda mantık konusunda çeşitli uzmanların eserlerinin yanı sıra bir klasik eser olan Kneale-Kneale’in “The Development of Logic” (Mantığın Gelişimi) adlı çalışması esas alınmış ve Türkçeye çevrilerek yararlanılmıştır. Aristoteles için mantık bir araç, bilimlere yönelik bir hazırlık niteliğindedir. Temel konusu kavramlar, önermeler ve kıyastır. Kıyas, akıl yürütme biçimlerinden apodeiktik olana karşılık gelir ama diyalektik ve eristik-sofistik akıl yürütmeler de tümdengelimseldir. Aristoteles kanıtlayıcı ve zorunlu olan akıl yürütmeyi apodeiktik olanda bulmuştur.
