The fact that telephones, which can be considered as the greatest comfort of our age, can also become the most important threat to social relationships is the subject of many different studies. The phubbing behaviour, in which the phone is considered as an important threat especially for social relationships, can be counted among the current concepts carried out in this field. Phubbing is derived from the words ‘phone’ and ‘snubbing’ to describe the behaviour of people who ignore others by focusing on the phone. It is obvious that a systematic analysis of the existing studies is necessary in order to address the concept more efficiently in the management literature. For this purpose, a detailed conceptual framework was tried to be established, different types of scales adapted to Turkish were examined and a bibliometric analysis of phubbing-oriented studies in the field of management was carried out through a comprehensive literature review on Scopus, one of the important databases. The analysis of phubbing studies in the Scopus database, limited to the field of management, revealed that the most cited authors were David and Roberts (2017), the most frequently associated keyword was "social," the year with the highest number of publications on phubbing was 2024, the journal with the highest number of published articles was Journal of Psychology, and the most frequently associated key concept was "smartphone addiction." Based on the research findings, the gaps of the concept were tried to be revealed and suggestions were put forward for researchers who want to investigate phubbing.
