COVID- 19 Pandemisinde Yüz Yüze Uygulamalı Eğitim Alan Diş Hekimliği Öğrencilerinin Stres Durumları ve Deneyimleri

Öz

Amaç: Coronavirus hastalığı-2019 (COVID-19) pandemisinde yüz yüze uygulamalı eğitim alan diş hekimliği öğrencilerinin stres durumları ve deneyimlerini değerlendirmekti.
Gereç ve Yöntemler: Bu çalışmaya Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi’nde eğitim gören 301 öğrenci dahil edilmiştir. Çalışmaya katılım isteğe bağlı gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri toplama 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılında yapılmıştır. Çalışma anketi 15 maddelik üçlü yanıt (katılıyorum, kararsızım, katılmıyorum) şeklinde oluşan sorulardan oluşmaktadır. Verilen cevaplara dayalı olarak maddelerin ortalamaları üzerinden cinsiyet, yaş ve eğitim yılına dayalı karşılaştırma gerçekleştirilmek üzere ki kare ve tek yönlü Anova analizlerinden yararlanılmıştır.
Bulgular: Çalışma katılan öğrencilerin %67,1’i kız, %32,9’u erkek öğrencilerden oluşmaktadır. “Pratik uygulamalarının yüz yüze yapılmasından fayda sağladığımı düşünüyorum.” maddesinde kız ve erkek öğrencilerin cevapları açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmaktadır (p<0,05). “Aile üyelerimden birinin COVID-19' a yakalanmasından endişeleniyorum.” maddesinde öğrencilerin sınıflarına göre cevaplarında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmaktadır (p<0,05).
Sonuç: Bu çalışma COVID-19 pandemi sürecinin diş hekimliği fakültesi öğrencilerinin, arkadaşları ve aileleri ile ilişkilerini genel olarak olumsuz etkilendiği, öğrencilerin ve ailelerinin COVID 19’a yakalanma hususunda tedirgin olduklarını göstermiştir.
